City Housekeeping & Reflections in Motion

Join us for an academic book party with University of Minnesota Assistant Professors Liane Malinowski and Jaclyn Fiscus-Cannaday. Together they’ll present their new releases:

  • City Housekeeping: Women’s Labor Rhetorics and Spaces for Solidarity, 1886-1911 is a feminist historiography focused on women brought together by Jane Addams’s Hull House Settlement in Chicago

  • Reflection in Motion: Reimagining Reflection in the Writing Classroom explores how reflective practice is embedded in daily course happenings, centering the experiences of students and teachers in Minority Serving Institutions to amplify underrepresented viewpoints about how reflection works in the writing classroom.

RSVPs encouraged but not required.
