Join our (private) Underground Supper Club

Big Hill Books has big plans for our lower level space, affectionately known as “The Ugly Church Basement.” We don’t want it to be ugly anymore. And we hope to open a future cafe in this space for customers, neighbors and friends of Big Hill Books to enjoy an additional dining option in Bryn Mawr.

Want to invest in your favorite neighborhood bookstore and help make this dream come true? Become a founding member of our (private) Underground Supper Club and buy a ticket to reserve your seat at our next event on Monday, Jan. 26, 2026, 6:30 p.m. For $75, you’ll enjoy:

• A five-course tasting menu that includes apps, sweets and other small bites (dietary needs can be accommodated with advance notice)

• A selection of wine and non-alcoholic beverage options

• The opportunity to meet your neighbors and make new friends

• A brief but exciting pitch for our vision of a future cafe
